The 2nd "Pune Workshop" is focuse
on long-term trends in the mesosphere, thermosphere and ionosphere, but includes
also trends in the stratosphere and troposphere. As the list of invited speakers
illustrates, the primary focus is on the trends in the mesosphere. One of the
primary goals is to help to distinguish between trends of anthropogenic and
natural origin, another important goal is to summarize current observational
information on trends in various parameters. Experimental as well as model
studies are invited.
The Workshop is organized by the joint working group of
IAGA - ICMA/IAMAS - PSMOS/SCOSTEP "Long-term Trends in the Mesosphere,
Thermosphere and Ionosphere" and co-organized by SPARC. It is financially
sponsored by IUGG and SPARC, co-sponsored by EGS and other co-sponsors are
expected/negotiated.
